We just heard about Peter's passing and send our deepest sympathies. My dad considers Peter's father, Peter Sr. as one of his best friends and misses him dearly. I remember playing with Patty and her sisters and little brother when we were kids. In a house full of girls, Peter held his own! Our prayers go out to you and your family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Flynn family. Peter was a kind and good person. I would call every April from California to order flowers for my aunt's birthday,Ruth Peters. He would always say to me "don't worry I will take care of it and make it beautiful " and he would end with "hope to talk to you next April ".

It is with deep sadness that we saw the passing of Pete Flynn in the newspaper. Unfortunately we were unable to visit the funeral home to pay our last respects. We were customers of his for years and i used to love dropping by to talk baseball and especially the Yankees with him. He was a very caring and genuine human being. In this very fast paced and sometimes cold world, he took the time to get to know his customers and treated them as friends. He will be dearly missed.

Peter was the first baby I ever remember seeing. I had just turned 4. He was always around when I came over to play or go swimming. Thank God he put up with my teasing! I remember that summer of ‘77 when we commuted together to work at the Matel toy factory. We had quite a few laughs. As we got older and life took me away from Edison whenever I did see him he’d greet me with a big hug and say I was his 4th sister. He was sweet, kind, funny, loyal and loving man. I will miss him and my heart breaks for Eileen, Kathy and Patti my other sisters. Thank you for sharing him with me.

My first memory of Peter was a joyous one. My mother brought me up to visit the new born baby Peter at the hospital. I was only 8 years old but Aunt Denny was kind enough to let me hold him in my lap for a minute. I was awestruck and in love. Ever since that day, every memory I have of Peter was a happy loving time spent together. He will be greatly missed.
