Obituary of Thomas P. Thompson

Thomas P. Thompson, 88, of Edison passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Newark, he was a resident of Edison for 58 years. Thomas was last employed with Lockheed Martin as an Electronic Model Builder, working on satellite prototypes. He was a member of the Edison Seniors.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Jean Thompson.  He is survived by his children, Mark (Mary) Thompson, Kathy Tofte and Kelly Kelly; 7 grandchildren & spouses/fiancées; Stephen Thompson, Sarah (Russ) Fratto, Michael (Sharodka) Tofte, Kelly (James) Collette, Shannon (Evan) Sottosanti , Jeffrey Kelly and Danica Kelly (Josh Fallon) along with 10 great grandchildren; Miles & Jade; Shannon, Frank & Fallon:  Madeline, Emma, Matt, Chris & Giuliana. 

Following his wishes, Thomas was privately cremated. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 2-4PM for all family and friends at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison.
