Thomas’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

My condolences go out to you and your family. Mr Thomson will be greatly missed. Not only was he a great neighbor but he was also a good friend. I would always enjoy coming over to hear him talk about the Yankees. Heaven has gained another angel to watch over his family. God bless and rest in peace, love you always....

Pop,
We were all so blessed to have you in our lives. Not many kids get to spend time with their great grandfather and they will know you were one of the greats. Thank you for always sharing all of your stories with us. We will miss listening to your stories, but we will carry them in our hearts. In my heart you will always remain forever young. Rest In Peace as you are now back with your other half. Until we meet again. Love you with all our hearts.

Pop Tom was always a pleasure to be around and had a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed visiting him with Danica and how friendly and welcoming he always was to me. I would have loved if you could have stayed for our wedding but you are at peace with your wife now. You lived a fullfilling life in which you left your mark on everyone you came in contact with. I wish condolences to everyone in the family in this time of grief. He will be terribly missed.

Mr. Thompson was always a dynamic man. He enjoyed playing with the kids on our street, and found many ways to entertain us. One of my favorite memories of him was how much he liked to play with the paddle that had a long, stretch band with a red rubber ball attached to it. Once he got his rhythm, he was unstoppable!!! Mr. Thomson made watching him do things totally fun!
My family and I send our love and prayers to you all, Kathy, Kelly and Mark. We will pray for your father and mother as well. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

“Pop, I’ve been playing MLB The Show on PS4 and using the Yankees. While I’m playing, I’m thinking of you and missing our Yankee conversations especially since this is the first Yankee team I like and now you are no longer around to discuss. You considered Lebron the greatest basketball player ever and he just opted out of his contract. You loved to be 88, yet you always evolved and revised your views and opinions throughout your life. That is an accomplishment that very few people of your generation can claim. Your marriage to Nana Jean was something I am jealous of.
