Beth Trautwein and I (Rick Scott) are so sorry to hear of Ilse's passing. We were neighbors in Edison, NJ in the 1980s and also knew her husband Ray through TASC, the Trautwein family fire apparatus (fire truck) business. They were both great people. Over the years we bought five of her handmade Santas which we still treasure to this day (see attached photo). Again, our condolences to her family and friends.

There are only good memories of Ilse and her joyful laughter, her creative arts, and how good she was to call me every year since my Mom passed away. For all of you, especially for Nancy and Al and Hal and Donna, she loved you greatly, often telling me how proud she was/is of you! My love to you and also from my father, Dante M.
