While i didn't know Don to well. I did have the pleasure of meeting him at our Garage band jam a few times and of course at our breakfasts at Edison Diner. I must say that my impression of him was that of such a kind humble guy... Your smile and conversation will be missed, One day soon the bible account at Revelation 21:v 3-5 will come true--Death will be no more!--We shall see you again Don!! - John 5:28-29--Smerko

Dear Karl Family,
I did not get to know Don well until we formed the Edison GarageBand quite a few years ago. We would meet for breakfast at the Edison Diner, a gaggle of old men reminiscing about the bands were in in high school and the kids and grandkids that occupied our thoughts at this time. My overwhelming impression of Don was of a selfless person, eager to hear and contribute to the conversations, a kind man with a ready comic observation. I did not know him as long as others and that’s my loss. Please accept our condolences, and know that he will be missed.

Donnie and I were classmates at Edison High School and graduated together. However it was not until recently through the efforts of Bob Petro did we all get together again. I was shocked when Bob told me of Donnie’s passing. He was so full of life great stories and always Mr Edison. Rest comfortably my friend.
