I decided to put up a picture of where our friendship started, Herbert Hoover Middle school. Sitting together in homeroom And having some nice early morning chats and laughs. Some mornings it just consisted of “Hey Flanagan” ... “Hey Hoey”. We usually walked through the hallways together often leading to the same class. One in particular- Mr Bradley’s class! And me wondering how long it would take until you were sent to Scanlan’s office. I know your laughing. Then off to Edison High where we met most days in the breeze way. We had some of our best conversations in that breezeway. You always made me laugh sometimes teasing me, but I knew you always had my back. A true friend. Cut days Meeting at Johnson’s Park, blasting music and being kids. You were taken away too soon Kevin and I am honored we had what time we did on this earth. I want to thank you for all our talks over the past 50 years, my sweet friend. You will never be forgotten.. ever.

I have so many great memories of Kevin. We have been friends for over forty-eight years. I think my most favorite memories are of the time we spent riding around on his bike. Kevin was instrumental in encouraging me to get my own license & bike, which I did. He had a way of helping you find your self-confidence. The photo I posted is from a ride we took in Texas out to a very large lake. He told me it was one of his favorite rides. I am so thankful to have had the honor of calling him - my friend. Deepest condolences to his wonderful family and much gratitude for the love and kindness they also have shared with me over the decades.
