She was more like an aunt than a cousin to me. She had this maternal caring and loving way about her—always concerned of my well-being. It was difficult to learn of her health issues and the challenges she had to overcome. I can only hope and pray that she has been relieved of all her suffering. I also hope her family finds peace knowing she is now with her Creator. Rest Peacefully with Our Lord, my dear Ate Mayette! xo -JPV-
