Geoffrey John Mackin, 66, of Avenel, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Allaire Rehab & Nursing, Freehold. Born in Jersey City, Geoffrey lived in Old Bridge before moving to Avenel 13 years ago. He worked for Verizon as a lineman in Shrewsbury. In his free time, Geoffrey was an avid hunter. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Geoffrey was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Carolyn Mackin; brothers, Edward and James Mackin; and sisters, Catherine Tiffany and Elizabeth Mackin. He is survived by his wife, Agustina Mackin; step-son, Seldy Mokalu; sister, Carolyn Mongiello and her husband Joseph; along with his nieces and nephews, Erin Chamberlain, Matthew Mongiello, Sean Mackin and Grace Tiffany. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1-4PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Cremation will be private.
