I always addressed Chris as Ms. Hess. I have missed seeing her at Campus High this year after working with her for the past 4 years. She always asked me about my family. She was always nice to me. I am saddened by her passing, and I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort all those who miss her, myself included.

Luke Our prayers are with you in this time of grief. I know the importance and impact Chris had and has in your life. I met her briefly during the holidays...she was full of life and laughter. The world will miss her and her memories will live on

I will miss our conversations, our discussions of books and music, our many dinners together, our politics but most of all ... I will miss Chris in my life.

So sorry to hear of Chris' passing. We worked together for a number of years at A Chester Redshaw School in New Brunswick, and our children, her daughter and my son, were born just one month apart. I think I still have a VCR tape of the two of them when they were both a little over a year old. We had a great bunch of colleagues back in the day and I'll always remember our TGIF get togethers at the Wooden Nickel in North Brunswick. Chris was always an outspoken advocate for what she believed and always wanted the best for her students.
