Obituary of Marcella Vernon

Marcella Vernon, 81, of Edison, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at home. Born in Jersey City, Marcella lived in Edison and Scotch Plains. She loved to travel, enjoying both the United States and Europe. Before her retirement, she was a secretary for Union County Educational Services.

Marcella was predeceased by her husband, George Vernon; sister, Bernice; and brother-in-law, William Mills. She is survived by her nephew, Robert Mills and his wife Diane, along with their sons Brian and Sean; and her step-children, John and Kathy Vernon.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 8:30M-10:30AM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral services will begin at 10AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
