I know it’s very late but I just found out. I’m really sorry for your sister and nieces who I knew. Love you very much as I did.. I guess renovating your house with new siding and windows. Couldn’t keep you safe from the world outside Rihanna hell of a time with the poison ivy but we got it finished really nice. My sincerest condolences to your sister Eldridge and her girls and it looks like she’s already lost your mom and dad. I didn’t know. I hope you find it in your heart to go away. I did nothing wrong. I don’t know what he ever told you. I came up to Anderson to put in my papers finally, I’m retired from Kilmer, if you want, you can reach me at that email or mische@aol.com in my message to John. I guess I should’ve left that bike in pieces in your dining room. If this is what it wound up doing for you. I will always keep a place in my heart for you. I love you. I wish someone would’ve tried to reach me. I would’ve come to the funeral. I know you were very happy with me while we were together many many years after. Too bad that our time never the right Time.

Sad to hear another original Piscataway “MotorHead” passed way too early. Condolences out to his family. I knew of John thru my childhood friend Haskell (who also sends condolences)back in high school days and knew John had bought my ‘67 Camaro SS from Kenny Morris- but eventually it went to Joe Lapsinsky and then to ??Pa.?? Hope the family can have peace and RIP John. Bill Moncur / Piscataway.

John and I have been friends for 45 years. We have supported each other through many trials and tribulations and always managed to find some humor in it all. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for those in need expecting nothing in return but a simple "thank you" I could always count on him to tell the truth because he lived by it. He was one unique, genuine man who I will miss for the rest of my days.

As I reflect on the years John and I have known one another, time flies.. I cannot believe our friendship lasted 21 years.. We shared alot great times together, as I worked up the block from his residence. I was also his barber.. As he gardened and loved to cook, he shared it with me at least once a week for many years... We also shared bike rides and played bingo every now and then.. More importantly our friendship was so incredible due to our relationship with Jesus Christ.. I visited the church he attended and he visited mine on many occasions.. What a joy it was to have known him. He will be greatly missed!!... Chrissy Funhouser ❤

I met John about 11 years ago. I was setting up for children’s church when we were at the Fire House. He was early, as always, and had pulled up on his motorcycle. I thought he was there for the firemen. Lol. Nah I heard there’s church here. You’re early I said. That’s okay, I’ll just hang around. And he did. He never left. He helped with so many things over the years. He was always real and true. He was such a dear brother in Christ, I miss him so much! May we who love him be comforted with the grace that comes from Our Heavenly Father alone. RIP Charlotte
