Margaret M. Finlay, 70, died at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, NJ, on Monday, November 18, 2013. She was born and raised in Jersey City, before moving to Edison in 1966. Margaret was a Homemaker, a dedicated mother, and a devout Christian who was a communicant of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Guardian Angels Church in Edison. Margaret was predeceased by her son, Michael Finlay, in 2013; and her parents, Angelo and Sophie Stracquatanio. She is survived by her sons; Robert A. Finlay and his wife Sandy, John S. Finlay and his wife Helen, Mark E. Finlay and his wife Tina, and Vincent P. Finlay and his partner Bob; John H Finlay (husband); her sisters, Rose Mary Johnston, Joan Zielinski and Helen Willis, her brother Angelo Stracquatanio; her grandchildren, John S., Jr., Michael, Jr., Christina, Robert, Jr., Daniel, Jonathan, Gage and Ryker; nieces and nephews James, Joseph, Vincent, Edwin, Jr., Stanley, Michele, Barbara, Joan, Angelo and Stephen, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends may visit on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral services are Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home; a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. will be held at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Guardian Angels Church, interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
