Obituary of Karen A. Puerschner
Karen Ann Puerschner died unexpectedly in a car accident in Daytona Beach, FL on June 15, 2019 at the age of 36.
Karen is survived by her mother, Ann Puerschner of Edison, NJ, her brother Brian Puerschner of Voorhees, NJ, his wife Jaime, a niece Jaiden Puerschner, two nephews Brandon and Jackson Puerschner. Her boyfriend Jack Schobert of Daytona Beach, FL. A nephew, Joseph Puerschner of Colonia, NJ. A sister-in-law Marilyn Puerschner and nephew Elijah Puerschner both of Philipsburg, NJ.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Puerschner, Sr. of Edison, NJ and her brother Robert L. Puerschner, Jr. of Philipsburg, NJ.
Karen was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 27, 1983. She was adopted by Robert and Ann Puerschner when she was two years old. As a young child, Karen was always smiling and came to be known for her infectious laugh. Karen was a graduate of Edison High School in 2001. She loved animals, gardening, and spending time with her family especially her niece and nephews.
Karen was living in Daytona Beach, FL where she had moved with her boyfriend Jack last year. Karen loved the beach, having fun with friends and living life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed.
A visitation and memorial service is scheduled for Monday June 24th 2019 from 6-8 pm at Boylan Funeral Home in Edison, NJ located at 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal rescue in Karen’s name, the Animal Welfare Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
