I will always remember my old friend Tom. We shared a lot of laughs and fun times growing up in Hackensack. I always admired his work ethic at Hoffman LaRoach and how long he stayed at that job. He truly loved being there. I believe he was a good father as well.

Our beloved Father and our children's "Big Grandpa" will be forever in our hearts and our memories. Chief Thomas Sabatie was a great man , a great fireman with a life time of service to multiple fire departments , he was highly respected and well known throughout the fire service . He educated and trained many men through out his career . But most of all Tom was a great friend , and if Tom your friend , you had a friend for life . I was very upset and surprised that Tom passed away so suddenly !! Without your knowledge and your expertise and most of all your friendship the world will be a darker place without you , my prayers and my condolences are with you and your family

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing! I know it was very unexpected but I am glad he was with family over his first Holiday after the loss of Donna! Donna and Tom were so very lucky to have had each other over these rough years! They were in it for life! God Bless Both their souls!
