Obituary of Marilyn J Bird

Marilyn J. Bird, 70, of Piscataway, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 with her daughters by her side. Marilyn was a bus driver for R&F Transportation and Barker Bus. She was a former member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Marilyn lived most of her  life in Edison and attended JP Stevens High School.   Marilyn will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Evelyn Boardman; and her brother, Robert Boardman. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bird; 2 daughters, Lynn Dourourips, and her partner Dave Miskiel , Marisa Stryker and her husband David; grandchildren, Autumn, Shane and Samantha; great granddaughter, Macie; along with many extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn’s name can be made to: The Plainfield Area Humane Society in Plainfield NJ.
