Obituary of Frances A Domowicz
Frances A. McKenna Domowicz passed from this life to her eternal reward on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She was 86 and leaves her loving daughter Mary Domowicz, her loving son Gene, her daughter-in-law Linda, her grandchildren, Nikki and Drew, and her daughter Tedi Duree. She is survived by her sister Madeline Abath, sisters-in-law Claire McKenna and Lucy McKenna, brother-in-law Robert Domowicz, his wife Mickey, and 23 beloved nieces and nephews and their families. She will join in heaven; her husband Daniel, her brothers John and Richard, her sister Margaret, her parents and her in-laws. She was a sweet, gentle person who left this world better for having been in it. She will be missed dearly.
Frances was born in the Bronx, NY to Susan and Bartholomew McKenna. She went to Cathedral High School graduating in 1950 and briefly attended Fordham University. She worked at New York Public Library as a stack chief, then went on to become a homemaker, piano teacher, nursery school teacher and executive secretary at Revlon. Frances was a devout Catholic, involving herself in the choir and the Rosary Altar Society at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Edison, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave, Edison on Sunday, September 30th from 11:00am to 1:00pm and again on Monday, October 1st from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison at 9:30am on Tuesday, October 2nd, please meet at the Funeral Home between 8:30am and 9:00am before proceeding to Mass. A final Funeral Service will take place on October 2nd at the Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ at 2:00pm.
