Dolores M. Turoski
Math teacher in Edison, loving wife and mother
Dolores M. Turoski passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at home, surrounded by family.
Born in Exeter, Pa., the daughter of Frank Casal and Rose Bardachino Casal, she attended Exeter High School and Misercordia College in Dallas, Pa., graduating summa cum laude.
She married her high school sweetheart, Francis (Fran) Turoski and moved to Edison, N.J., in 1950.
She had a very rewarding career as a math teacher at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School for 21 years, and enjoyed traveling with her husband after retirement.
Dolores is survived by her children, Janet Phillip, Jamesburg N.J., Jeanne Klappich (Dwight), Dunwoody, Ga., Karen Jones (Doug), Fairfax, Va., Kathryn Bogdan (Kenneth), Lexington Park, Md.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fran; son-in-law, Allan Phillip; and grandson, Allan Phillip Jr.
Visitation will be at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave, Edison, N.J.,on Sept. 9, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30am on Sept. 10 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison, N.J. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick, N.J., will follow the Mass.
