Kathy and Carrie,
I was surprised to hear about your mother. She was such a loving, caring and wonderful person. Heaven has gained another angel. She loved the both of you very much and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. I just wish I had one more opportunity to at least spend one day with her. Instead I was always busy working.
This proves to me life is too short to keep working and don't postpone things.
Please cherish all those wonderful, caring moments of your mother and hold them close to your heart.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and your family.
Melanie

JOE AND I ARE SO VERY SORRY TO FIND OUT THAT YOUR MOM PASSED AWAY! OUR FRIENDSHIP GOES WAY BACK AND I AM TRULY SORRY! I HAD JUST GOT HOME A FEW DAYS BEFORE HER PASSING FROM HAVING EXTENSIVE SURGERY AND NEVER LOOKED ON LINE AT THE OBITUARIES AND HAD NO IDEA. I HADN'T KEPT IN TOUCH WITH HER THESE LAST FEW MONTHS, SOMETIMES LIFE GETS IN THE WAY.
YOUR MOM LOVED YOU VERY MUCH AND ADORED HER GRANDCHILDREN AND WAS ALWAYS TELLING ME ABOUT THEIR ACTIVITIES AND HOW PROUD SHE WAS OF THEM. REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND, TILL WE MEET AGAIN. GOD BLESS!

My prayers go to all the family members. I remember going with Kathy to many games. She was a quiet soul but was animated when it came to our high school games. She was also committed to keeping our alumni rolls pretty accurate. May she rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Kathy's family.
“...Life always ends something and begins something else, and yet it actually never ends or begins, for it is timeless and that which is essential will accompany us through all days and hours, be they happy or sad.
And when we close a grave, we build a bridge into the other world.
From year to year such bridges will increase, until we ourselves cross over our own bridge, built with the many tears we shed, in order to forget why we cried....”
