To my precious cousin, Bohdanka,
and Yarko, Natalya, Oksana, Olena, Serafina, and family:
Gene and I truly grieve together with you at the loss of this wonderful man!!!!
How can I ever put into words what he meant to me and how much he did for me and my family, when we were new comers to America, and throughout our lives?
Not only did he sponsor us, and take all four of us in, and then with your mother undertake to get us an apartment, get my dad a job, get us enrolled in school, and all that it took to help my family get settled in a new world, but then coach us in our skits for all the holidays we would be on stage, and even teach me and Don proper etiquette at the table so we would be ready for all the banquets he took us to. I could go on and on, but for now, I want to let you know, he will be missed and was very loved. I only wish I had had time to tell him all this, so now in his honor I thought I would tell you!
