To the Thomas Families,
It’s terrible to hear about your loss and I express my sincere sympathy to you and your families.
A memory that I recall vividly from one of the summers that I visited my grandparents on Cleveland Street was when my Uncle introduced me to Karate Master Kim. Now, I never really saw this 'Kim' but my Uncle Jack & my grandfather would call me in from outside I could hear someone downstairs making Karate noises (yelling, hitting boards(?), etc. They would tell me that he wanted to fight and I would get all worked up that I would need to go down into the cellar and someone get this Shaolin Monk out of the house. My grandfather and uncle kept this ruse up for sometime. I remember being kind of let down when they said it was a joke. I'd like to think that quality...kidding, tomfoolery, etc runs through my family.
John, Pete, Bill & Mike...Your father was a wise man, but at the same time, he had a great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly and remembered often.

For the time that I knew Jack, he was always laughing and was a very fun person. He really loved his sons. He was a hard working man. He was willing to do anything for anyone. I would hope he is in a better place now. Rest in peace.

Dear Peter Thomas & Brothers/Family,
So sorry to hear about your father !!! May God bless all of you especially during this time of great sorrow.
I remember your father being a father who had a wonderful smile and who worked hard. When I think back, we were pretty wild kids...playing ball in the streets, hockey in Blackwell/ Schultz's back yard (you guys & Mandy Renaud than me!) & going down to the alluring and sometimes dangerous Black River...always a mystery...lol.
We are so lucky to have our parents for so long and I'm glad you guys did.
I cannot attend the service, but I hope everyone is OK.
I send my prayers.
Best,
Denise Kojak
