Obituary of Casmier "Charlie" Wianko
Casmier S. “Charlie” Wianko, 91, of Edison, passed away Friday February 9, 2018 at home. Born in Taylor, PA, he was a resident of Edison for 58 years. He was a Gas Plant Supervisor for Public Service and Gas for 38 years. Charlie was involved in many clubs; he was the past President of the Fraternal order of the Eagles, past President of the Elks Lodge 2487 in Edison, a member of the Moose and the Italian American Club. He was the President of ABC in Middlesex County, and Secretary of the Year for the Bowling Association; and he was inducted into the Middlesex County Bowling Association Hall of Fame, 1999-2000.
Charlie was predeceased by his wife, Florentine L. Wianko; a son Lawrence Wianko and 11 siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ricci and Francene Davis, both of Edison; six grandchildren, Deana Siroki, Dawn Barany, Kassandra Ricci, Adrienne Deniger, Joseph Ricci Jr. and Christopher Loux, along with 14 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday February 11, 2018 from 3-6PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, and Monday 9AM until the Funeral Service at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
