Obituary of Cyril G. Fricovsky
Cyril G. Fricovsky, 99, of Edison, passed away Friday January 26, 2018 at AristaCare in South Plainfield. Born in Taylor, PA to John and Barbara (Kippicash) Fricovsky, Cyril resided in Edison most of his life with his loving wife Ruth (Viseskis) until her passing in 1986.
He was born in Pennsylvania and lived there until serving in the U. S. Army between 1942-1945 during World War II in Hawaii as Military Police which included assignments to naval convoys as part of his duties. After his discharge from the Army, he married Ruth and eventually moved to New Jersey living first in Newark and finally settling down in Edison not far from where he served and trained at Camp Kilmer before being deployed to Hawaii.
Cyril was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth and son John who passed away in 2017. He is survived by his daughter Donna and son Robert as well as five grandchildren, Lonnie Shacklock, Robert C. Fricovsky, John Fricovsky, Paul Fricovsky, Christine Duadka, and six great grandchildren, Steven Wheeler, Amber Rose Fricovsky, Faith Lousie Soller, Lillian Mae Duadka, and Kourtney and Elora Fricovsky along with three brothers, George, Thomas, and John.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison; and Wednesday, 8:45AM at the funeral home, with a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angel Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
