Obituary of Anthony H Lombardo

Anthony H. Lombardo, 82, of Edison, passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 at McCarrick Care Center, Somerset. Born in Lodi, he was raised in Clifton and graduated from Seton Hall University before moving to Edison in 1962. Before his retirement, he was a Claims Representative for Allstate Insurance. Anthony served his country in the United States Army; and was a member of the Army Reserves for 27 years, attaining the rank of Colonel.  He was a Member of the Holy Name Society and a parishioner at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Dr. Mark Lombardo and his wife Janet, Christopher Lombardo and his wife Marie, Timothy Lombardo and his wife Lisa and Lisa Boudreau and her husband Charles; a brother, Dr. Arthur Lombardo; along with 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Heather, Jeremy, Emily, Jensen, Allyson and Colin; and 3 great grandchildren, Alex, Jacob and Penelope.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison; and Tuesday, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
