Janet Louise Gabriel, 50, died at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison, on Thursday October 10, 2013. She was born and raised in Westmoreland City in PA, and moved to Edison in 1990 after meeting her husband at Waynesburg College in PA. She was a Para-Professional Teacher/Pre-school for the Edison Board of Education at the FDR bldg. She was an active member of Community Presbyterian Church in Edison. She was predeceased by her brother Donny Haines, her nephew Kenny Michael and niece Joy. Janet is survived by her husband Michael E. Gabriel; her sons Matthew M, Stephen E., Brian A. Gabriel; her parents Francis and Carol Haines; her brothers Francis and Billy Haines; and her sister Cheryl Cohen. Funeral Services are Monday October 14th at 9:30 at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave. Edison, followed by interment at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Funeral Home.
