Elisabeth Hoffman, 76, of Edison passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Trier, Germany she resided in Edison most of her life. Mrs. Hoffman was employed as a Bank Manager with American Express in Germany, and later as an EMT with Co-Steel Raritan in Perth Amboy. She also volunteered with the Edison First Aid Squad. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, and for the last 15 years was devoted to raising her grandchildren. Mrs. Hoffman was predeceased by her husband Thomas H. Hoffman in 1987 and her son Thomas F. Hoffman in 2011. She is survived by her daughter Heike-Martina Jedrasik and her husband Ewaryst of Allentown, PA, and son David M. Hoffman of Howell. She is also survived by grandchildren David M. Hoffman, Jr. and Corrinne Hoffman. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25 from 6-9 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. Funeral services will be held at 8 pm. Cremation will be private.
