Daniel Lee O'Neil died at home on Monday, July 6, 2015. Born in West Covina, CA, he was currently a resident of Edison. Employed as a master electrician with Electricians Local #3 in New York, he worked on major projects throughout the City including the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal and many other notable landmark buildings. Daniel was working at the Bank of America Building on Wall St. at the time of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and aided in the recovery efforts. He was an avid fisherman and loved to barbecue with friends and family. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Robert O'Neil. Daniel is survived by his wife, Janice; his son, Robert Lee O'Neil of Edison; his daughters, Andrea Markay and husband Kristofor of Houston, TX and Kelly O'Neil of Edison; his mother, Patricia O'Neil; his brothers, Dan, Doug, David, John and his sister, Janet O'Neil. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, July 11, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 Second Avenue.
