Joyce M. Shourt, 81, of Edison, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Newark, Joyce was a resident of Edison most of her life. Mrs. Shourt was a member of Raritan Valley Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her six sons, five daughters, and many grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2014, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. Cremation will be private.
