William “Bill” Auer II, 81, of Edison, New Jersey passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024. Bill was born in Elizabeth, raised in Roselle and lived in Edison for the past forty years. He served in the National Guard of New Jersey and was a graduate of Rutgers University. He spent his career in financial services working at Midlantic Bank and City National Bank. Most recently, he enjoyed retirement spending time with his family. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Auer; as well as his sister, Sue-Ann Shields. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Cestaro and her husband Chris; along with his two grandsons, Zachary and Reid. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be held immediately after at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
