I am deeply sorry to discover this sad news!
Irene and Miron were my first landlords when I moved to Princeton in 1983. I lived in the basement apartment at their Leavitt Lane home. I could not have been a more fortunate person. They treated me with kindness and generosity, but especially Irena, who often shared some of her magnificent dinners. She had a great sassy humor and warm heartedness that few have matched in my lifetime. I am so sorry that I drifted away from them. I’m so heartbroken that she is gone. May she rest in eternal peace.
