Frank W. Gorbe, 70, of Edison, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at home. He was born in New Brunswick and raised in East Brunswick and Edison. Frank was a long-time member of the Edison Elks. He worked as an insurance adjuster for CNA Insurance in Piscataway. When he was younger, Frank was a paper boy for the Home News Tribune and he also worked as a bus driver. He always brought a smile to everyone he met. Frank was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He will be remembered as the “Candy Man” by his nieces. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Gorbe; his son, Donald B. Gorbe; father, Frank B. Gorbe; and brother, Donald B. Gorbe. He is survived by his son, Frank W. Gorbe; mother, Grace Gorbe; sister, Diane Le Clair and her husband Ronald; along with his nieces, Michelle and Nicole. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dayton Cemetery, South Brunswick.
