Kelly was one of the best people I've ever known. Growing up she was my neighbor and friend. She was a very generous and caring person. I will always cherish my memories of her. Kelly had a tent and all the kids in the neighborhood would have sleepovers in the summers. Our favorite neighborhood gathering place was her parents' pool where many happy memories were made. Kelly was always there for me. Many years later, there was a fire in my house. I was still living in my childhood home. I was totally distraught when I looked up and Kelly was right there to offer help and support as always. Growing up Kelly was like a big sister. I will always cherish my memories of our childhood. After her marriage and she had Alex and Christopher, she would bring the boys to visit her parents. I would get the biggest kick out of the three of them laughing and giggling. Dwayne, Alex, Chris, Mr. and Mrs. Stephens, and Michael, I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy.

I am lighting this candle in memory of Kelly A. Sommer
I am very sorry to have learned of Kelly’s passing. When I met her for the very first time at Duane’s 50th surprise party, she accepted me with open arms. She hugged me, I saw the twinkle in her eye and she treated me like a sister from the first day. I always looked forward to seeing her. She was brave, she was beautiful and she was an amazing human being. I bonded with her quickly over our love for The Yankees and The Giants. Hockey was always interesting. I still remember her laugh. All these years later, I still think of Kelly the same way. She was a very special person. My heart breaks for all of you and your are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know how much she adored all of you. I am here for you if you need me and I mean that. Knowing Kelly was a gift and I am blessed to have known her.
