Anna R. Minshew, (née Monek), 84, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, at home. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Edison for the past 35 years. Mrs. Minshew was a communicant of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Guardian Angels Church in Edison, and actively worked BINGO at the church hall. She regularly frequented the Edison Diner where she made many friends over the years. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl W. Minshew, in 2008, her beloved son, Earl, and by her siblings, Louis, Frank, Irene and Mary Minshew and her sister and brother in-law Theresa and Arthur Bloss. Surviving are her children, Donna and Frank Minshew of Edison; and her grandchildren; Ryan, Tyler, Shawn, and Morgan Minshew. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church in Edison. Entombment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
