Obituary of Cleofe S. Elimanco
Cleofe S. Elimanco, 91, of Edison, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the comforts of her home. She was surrounded by all her children and grandchildren during her final hours. Cleofe was born in Cebu, Philippines, to parents Evaristo and Paciencia Suello, and as the younger sibling to brother, Sabino Suello. She retired as a registered nurse case manager working for the State of NJ. She was a very active parishioner at Guardian Angels Church, Edison, particularly to the Legions of Mary and in fundraising. Her photo displays her love for social ballroom dancing, something she greatly shared with her husband, Phil, who passed away in October 2022. She was a board member of the Surigao Association and the Highland Park Lion’s Club. She was also a stalwart supporter of CITAA-ESB.
Cleofe is survived by sons, Arnold and his wife Elaine, Brandon and his wife April, and Edneil and his wife Melissa; daughters, Carolyn Elimanco, and Deanna Winters and her husband Terry; along with her grandchildren, Kylie, Christian, Reesa, Nicolas, TD, Jaden and Logan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Guardian Angels Church, 37 Plainfield Avenue, Edison. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens located at US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge followed by the repass at LouCas Italian Restaurant, 9 Lincoln Hwy, Edison.
Instead of flowers, the Elimanco Family lovingly asks to donate that amount to Guardian Angels Church (aka Transfiguration of the Lord Parish) as Cleofe wished.
