Joan S. Kratz, 89, of Edison, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Joan was born and raised in Plymouth, Pennsylvania. She was the manager of the legal department for Amalgamated Credit Bureau. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Kratz. She is survived by her children, Ann Kratz, Joann Kratz, Frederick Kratz III, Nicholas Kratz and his wife Janet; her four grandchildren, Nicholas Jr & Bell, Samantha & Jack, Jurrien Frederick & Veronica, Ricky & Taryn; three great grandchildren, Savannah, Nicholas Martin, and Kensley; along with sister, Dolores Wrazen; sister-in-law and brother in law, Bernadette and David Sokira; sister-in-law, Mildred McGroarty; cousin, Joseph Piszczek; along numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison, with entombment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
