Frances M. Probus Frankenberger, 92, of Somerset, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at The Parker at Somerset. Frances was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in New Jersey. She also lived in Maryland and Vermont before moving to Florida. Frances was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and its Women's Guild in Homosassa, Florida. In New Jersey, she was a parishioner of St. Matthias Church. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Francis McElroy, and her most recent husband, Victor Frankenberger. She was also predeceased by her three brothers, James, Joseph, and John Probus. Frances is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Roxanna of Delaware; and her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Michael Oliver. Frances is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her godson, Peter Michael Brannon. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 12th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Memorial donations in Frances’ memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
