Celeste M. Ramsey, 80, of Piscataway, passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023 at JFK Hartwyck. Celeste was born and raised in San Francisco De Macoris, Dominican Republic and moved to NYC at the age of 23. She was a Lab Technician at Overlook Hospital in Summit. In her free time, Celeste enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, water color and working with the Women’s Prison Ministry in Rahway. Celeste was predeceased by her husband, Charles Ramsey Sr.; her parents, Furcy and Lina Taveras; and her sister, Josephine Ramirez. She is survived by her first husband Hector B. Pichardo Sr., children, Charles M. Ramsey Jr., Sheila Stone, John S. Pichardo and his wife Isabel, Hector B. Pichardo Jr., Lina Y. Pichardo and her husband Fernando; brother, Jose Taveras; sisters, Inez Mahmoud, Luisa Azcurra and Moriama Rodriguez; along with grandsons, Julian, Aaron B., Charles III, Zachary John, Seth William and Hector Furcy. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1-5PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A funeral service will be held at 3:30PM. Cremation will be private.
