Louis J. Abramo, 97, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 and his wife, Lorraine R. Abramo, 94, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, both at their home. Louis was born in Union City and worked as an engineer for General Cable Corporation. He served his country in the US Army/Air Force as an aerial photographer. In his free time, Louis enjoyed painting and cooking. Lorraine was born in Union City and was an RN in the operating room at St. Peter’s University Hospital. In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed gardening and needlepoint. Louis and Lorraine were predeceased by their son, Keith Abramo. They are survived by their children, Louis Abramo, Mark Abramo, Neal Abramo and his wife Debra, Jamie Abramo and his wife Kristine, Lauren Drake and her husband Robert and Adrianne Maimone and her husband James; grandchildren, Keeley, Erin, Tessa, Ryan, Amanda, Louis, Evan, Melissa, Jessica, James, Mia and Dylan; and great grandchildren, Liam, Ashton James and Willow Wren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m.. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
