George Campbell passed at home on January 13, 2022. He was ninety years old. George was born in Brooklyn, NY, June 18, 1931, he married Helen McArdle Campbell and was a loving husband for almost fifty-five years. They moved to Edison, NJ in 1962, where they raised their three children. George proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a Life Member of VFW 3217 and a longtime volunteer at Menlo Park VFW Memorial Home. George was a lift truck mechanic by trade and owner of G & H Lift Truck Service. Always with a smile and a corny joke, George enjoyed his bus trips to Atlantic City, reading his newspaper and meeting his crew at McDonald's. George will be especially missed by his daughter Beth, countless family and friends and his buddy, Koshkin, his cat. There will be a Celebration of his Life in the spring.
